Ok, so I decided to color the pen drawing for IF: Entangled. Original version can be seen in my last post.

This week's 'Word du jour' for Illustration Friday is Entangled and I thought about my own hair being entangled when I was in the hospital for over a week. I decided shortly after I should cut it down to minimal female length :)
I thought about making the hair different shades of red, but decided not to. I might try it later on though. Let me know what you think.

IF: Sky

"All the dragons are extinct now and there's no way to move from island to island. 

There's no way to communicate with other islands. 

This is my home and my prison. 

We're totally self reliant, everyone has their own job to do. 

Always with the same people. 

Day in day out, it's boring and I feel a need to explore, to get off this island, but how...?" 

Illustration Friday: Yield

Missed one week, had great ideas, but alas no time to make the illustration I wanted. Luckaly this week is better. Illustration Friday's word of the week is: Yield. I decided on an infographic type illustration. Made entirly with illustrator and it's 3D function.

In order to yield you have to seed. And I see it's almost time for my carrots to go in to the ground. Yummie, can't wait till they're done. I hope to yield loads of carrots in about 150 days :-)

Illustration Friday: Capable

On a role here ;-) Two weeks in a row that I've been fortunate enough to have time to participate with the Illustration Friday Word of the Week.
So here's my entry for this week. Been trying to teach myself to draw better. Still getting used to using photoshop for coloring so please bear with me :)

Illustration Friday: Fluid

It's been a while since I've done something with the illustration friday website. But school is almost finished and I seem to have some time left over (wow!).

I made this using only photoshop, which was a challenge for me because I work better with Illustrator. But still I think it was nice (and I made this in school hours which is even better ;-) )

IF Duet

This week Illustration Fridays word is Duet. I didn't have a plan when I started drawing. I just wanted it to turn out 'happy and colorfull'. It's the first time i've attempted this layered look with all the shading. The drawing was made entirly in illustrator.

I can imagine these octopus singing something like "I'm dancing in the rain" or maybe a little "Row, row, row your boat". As long as they stay happy it's alright with me :)
